The distinction the paper draws
Writing on 19 August 2026, Het Laatste Nieuws puts it plainly. Where the earlier series focused on conspicuous decadence, Knokke Tof puts the emphasis on hard work, young ambition and passion. It follows nine people, locals and second home owners both.
The headline runs from a granola maker to an estate agent, which is a fair description of the range. The nine are not one industry, and the programme does not treat them as one.
What the founder is doing in it
He is one of the nine. The group is not the subject of the programme and had no part in making it, so what the series shows is a working life rather than a company's account of itself.
