Who Is Robin Rouquart?
He left Ghent in 2018 on a loan taken against the family home, failed twice in America before anything worked, and now runs five companies with their own production in the United States. This is the short version of a long road.

Who is Robin Rouquart?
Robin Rouquart is a Belgian entrepreneur who grew up in Ruiselede, West Flanders, raised by his mother. In 2018 he left for the United States, and in 2019 he incorporated The Mazi Group in Miami: an American holding company that today sits above several businesses. Belgian production and distribution are the next step.

Where is Robin Rouquart from?
From Ruiselede, in West Flanders, where he grew up. He started his first business as a teenager, buying security cameras cheaply in China and reselling them in Belgium. After that came work as a waiter and a stint in a call centre selling ink cartridges, until he took on Maison Willem Tell and helped build it into a successful B&B. At the Missault Group he holds a mandate. The move to the United States followed in 2018.

What is Robin Rouquart's net worth?
It is not something he concerns himself with. The Mazi Group is an American, privately held company: his stake sits inside it, and the group does not publish valuations.

What exactly does The Mazi Group do?
The group specialises in innovating industries. It takes the technology developed inside its existing businesses, rebuilds it into new companies, and commercialises those. Upvendo grew out of technology Mazi Beauty had already built, and it is the first of those companies. Today the group holds Mazi Beauty, On The Go, Upvendo, Glam Switch and Bella Gloss: it began as a beauty business, and it is no longer a beauty group. The full trajectory is on the founder page.

Why is he returning to Belgium?
The relationship with Belgium was never simple, but the intention never changed: build the company here too, and Mazi Beauty in particular. A pilot in sixty Belgian pharmacies followed in 2022. In 2026 a new launch comes to Belgium and Europe, and Upvendo is coming here too, not only Mazi Beauty.
